Condition: Hardcover. Cover boards have light wear, minor bumping to corners, gilt design on cover remains clear and bright, as does most of spine. The illustrated title page is detached, binding strained/stitching visible in a few places, but binding remains secure on the whole. Most of the volume appears to remain uncut/"unopened" along the upper page edge. Fully illustrated. Includes Chatto & Windus's 32 page catalog bound-in at the back, and has a bookseller's ticket for "Chas E. Lauriat Co. Importers and Booksellers" in Boston.
