SIGNED by Morley on title page, and dated 1904. Includes a folded ticket, presumed relatively contemporary to the book, for admission to see Shakespeare's Grave in Stratford-on-Avon.

Condition: Hardcover; no dust jacket, minor scuffing and edge wear, corners a bit bumped. Endpaper slightly darkened. On the ffep, there is a small portrait of John Morley that has been pasted-in. Binding strained at title page. Newspaper clippings at pages 102/103 have darkened those pages, the article is in regards John Morley and whether he should be the one to carry the "great spurs at the coronation of George V" (backside of article is dated February 4, 1911 from the Chicago Daily). Otherwise interior is clean and unmarked. Binding overall remains secure.
