SIGNED and inscribed by Parkman, dated 1 Feb. 1886, to "C. H. Farnham"(?) Below Parkman's handwriting is a subsequent owner of the book, "H.E. Hale Jr. 1929"
Condition: Cover boards have scuffing around edges and spine, corners and spine ends a little bumped. Front inside cover and back inside cover have evidence of bookplate removal/possible library-type pocket in the back. Light discoloration/foxing only to a few pages near the front and back. Interior is otherwise clean and unmarked. Binding is secure.
