Condition: Leather covers with beautiful bold and bright gilt decoration on the front and back and spine, page edges also gilt. Spine somewhat worn but titles remain legible, cover boards have some light scuffing and wear along the edges, corners rubbed. Previous owner stamp on ffep. Light moisture-staining to upper fore-edges noticeable throughout most of the book, and final section has staining on lower edges--see photos. Page 37 with an illustrated plate is detached from the book along with its tissue guard. Binding is otherwise secure.
